Stupid Question

I have just set up my linux box and installed sins, to run sins you can use a hub with both boxes connected. Is this the case with showEQ? Iam installing as we speak and was hearing about having to use the showEq box as the hub for the windows machine(ex using 2 nics in the linux box) is this the case, will i need to put another nic in there for the win box or can i use the hub for both boxes as in the sins setup.

Update.... Got show running using a hub and its is great, have both pc's hooked up too a hub and runs good
