Bleh, i have a fresh installation of redhat 7.2
all the "right" packages according to redhat manual (posted on this board)
latest version from cvs.. but..
tail of ./configure

checking for Qt... yes

>>>> Libraries...: /opt/qt-gcc3-2.3.2/lib/

checking if Qt compiles without flags... no
checking for pthread_create in -lpthread... no
configure: error: cannot find pthread_create in libpthread

[root@localhost lib]# cd /usr/lib
[root@localhost lib]# rpm -qf libpthread.a
glibc-devel-2.2.4-13
[root@localhost lib]# rpm -qf libpthread.so
glibc-devel-2.2.4-13

anyone have a clue what i did wrong?
