ShowEQ 6.2.5 for Live 05/18/22

Announcing the release of ShowEQ version 6.2.5. This version is compatible with the May 18th release. Special thanks to Newby for the patch.

Installation (tarball):




$ tar xjvf showeq-6.2.5.tar.bz2
$ cd showeq-6.2.5
$ ./configure
$ make
$ make install



Installation (SVN):



$ svn checkout http://svn.code.sf.net/p/seq/svn/showeq/tags/v6_2_5 showeq-6.2.5
$ cd showeq-6.2.5
$ make -f Makefile.dist build
$ ./configure
$ make
$ make install

Hey friends. I am returning to EQ/ShowEQ after a long hiatus, and trying to update from version 6.0.0.2 to this patch, but I am getting an error on the ./configure step. The error says configure:error: cannot find ICE library. Install the ICE development package. Sorry I'm a bit clueless! is this libnice-dev?
