Nulled out an annoying opcode, just posting the entire patch again...

When I manually patched on raid day, I had no issues. With SVN update maps are all resizing to miniscule size as I guess it's seeing some spawn way off the map and autosizing. Is anyone else having this issue?

I don't have that issue with the first patch. I haven't applied the second patch for LDON objects. Are you seeing it with the LDON objects patch or the original?

I'm seeing the same issue.. and it doesnt happen every time. I just zoom in and it's ok.. mostly.
That is before and after the LDON patch.

Fransick and Loki (and anyone else affected) - could you post (or PM me) the zone name(s) where you're seeing this?

Thanks, Loki, for the additional info.
I'm not 100% certain that this is the fix, as there may be other factors. But so far, it seems to fix it for me. That is, both LDON objects and miscellaneous auras (at least the ones I've run across in both cases) all show up correctly for me.
So try this patch and let me know how it goes.

Please let me know if this fixes the issues. When I get confirmation, I will update the SVN and tarballs.

I was not having the issues others pointed out before the latest patch, but with it, now I am in the same zone. I do not believe it fixes it.

The patch above was a guess based on differences between packets for the few zones/mobs I've been told about. If it doesn't fix it, then I need more info - what zones would be a good starting place, but if I'm not able to access the particular zone (e.g., raid zones), then I'll need someone willing to work with me to get me the info I need from the logs.

I'll grab some logs when back from holiday. No SEQ here :-(
It is still happening, I'll get some logs going for cn187 in next couple days.

I was able to collect enough examples that I *think* I have it figured out. It required digging a little deeper into the packet than I was previously thinking. Thanks to everyone that provided info/examples.
I've attached the patch. Please give it a whirl and let me know if there are still issues. But hopefully this will be it.
patch -p0 < aura_dynamic.txt
Looks like you got it! Zoned into PoK 4 times - perfect. /bow. This patch is supposed to apply against ShowEQ 6.2.12 (Pre LDON patch).

Can anyone else confirm that the patch works? If so, I will do a commit.
Thanks cn187.

Seems to be working.
Yeah so far it's been fine. My SO uses it via VNC (on same box as I use console) and said it's good.
Thanks again cn187. As well thank you to Newby and BlueAdept. And whoever else contribute this =)

Newby and CN187 deserve the credit. I just oversee things here. My days of helping with the source are well over with.

awesome thanks guys, i was travelling for the past few weeks so haven't checked these forums but I was being hit with both of the issues, the ldon objects and this zoom out thing, was happening with me with POK, Gorowyn, skyfire(ROS version), most of the time I could just zoom in, but a few times I had to be at 32x and it still wasn't zoomed in enough. Once todays patch hits SVN i'll do a full install and hope everything is back to working perfectly!
Working beautifully in all 7 new NoS zones tonight.
