Mapping Issue

Could someone please explain how the maps are supposed to work? The program runs great except the map lines are missing. I have tried all options within the right-click menu, as well as changed settings in the .conf file. The map lines do not show up. I have also used the search function to try to find similar issues to no avail. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Assuming you did a normal install, they just show up when you enter a zone. Are there any map related errors on the console?

Thanks! I was going the gui route to start the program. I had the map files in the wrong directory. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. This program rocks!!

how did you manage to have the maps in the wrong place?

Well, I'm no linux guru, but the map files were in root/showeq/conf. I have no idea how that happened.
