I have been useing Redhat 7.2 for a long time and have never updated my QT to 3.0.5 or better.

I am sure I could but, I am a strong believer that if it aint broke DON'T fix it.

I can not update CVS and recompile without errors but if I just blow away SEQ and start from scratch it works just fine and I get skittles.

I know the day may come when it stops working but, fear not I will not be posting WTF is wrong with my SEQ on the boards. I will just update QT and move on.

Ahhh, I was using Mandrake 8.1 and QT 2.3.2, no matter what I did it was not compiling correctly.

So I blew out showeq directory and tried again... No luck

Then I bit the bullet and upgraded QT to 3.1.2, and DA-YUM! SEQ is fast, and smoother than before.

Well worth the 4 hours of compile time IMO.

I just wish I had done it a few weeks back during down time...
