It is randomly not tracking the tracked session in the window. When I move, it does not update my location on the map. NPCs and group member locations are updated, just not mine. Have had it happen in two zones now, one immediately after zoning.
There's nothing in the console to indicate any kind of error. Session Tracking is enabled and only one client on the network was zoning at the time (the client it happened on).
I zoned around a bit, and haven't been able to reproduce this.
If it's only happening sometimes, and everything else is working otherwise, then it sounds like a particular packet/opcode is getting missed in the stream. Though I'd expect to see other stream-related errors.
Are you still occasionally having issues with buffer overruns and/or arqseq giveup? If so, then it could be related (even though you didn't get any errors this time). If not, then I'm not sure off hand what it would be.
If you want to enable packet logging and get me some logs, I can look at them. (don't post them publicly - they'll have identifying info. Either you can email them, or I can give you a place to upload them).
Otherwise, I'm not sure what else to suggest at the moment (though I might think of something, given some time).
I've had this happen to me too. Pretty sure it is caused by aura's.
I did some aura-related testing, and unfortunately I still haven't been able to reproduce it. Maybe it's a combination of auras and something else?
There were no auras when I encountered the issue...
So in once case, the player updates didn't work at all after zoning, but in the other, it worked for a while after zoning then suddenly stopped?Originally Posted by xerxes
Yes. There was nothing in the console. Something broke the self move updates, as I could still see NPCs and other PCs moving around the map.
